  • Creation of 20 unicorn startups by 2030
  • Collaboration with ISRO for satellite technology advancement

Economic Growth Targets

The state's vision, branded as 'Viksit UP @2047', sets ambitious targets including:

  • USD 1 trillion economy by 2030
  • USD 2 trillion by 2036
  • USD 6 trillion by 2047

This economic transformation plan, while ambitious, reflects a careful balance between rapid development and institutional stability, essential for sustainable growth.

Focus on Skill Development

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's administration emphasizes comprehensive skill development, aiming to prepare a workforce of over four crore people for global competition. The initiative includes establishing world-class universities and R&D centres, with five educational institutions targeted to rank among the global top 200.

The goal is to train 100 per cent of the state's youth in industry-based skills and prepare a globally skilled workforce, positioning UP as a leading contributor to India's IT exports.
